More English Wildlife?

It rained practically all day today and in the middle of it, A and I made a mad dash to the train to pick up some groceries and some movies for the weekend. As we walked down the sidewalk, we came across this lil guy. Where did he come from?

Puppies

My sister-in-law breeds long-haired dachshunds and we got to see some of the latest litter. If it weren’t for the quarantine, one of these pups might have been making a transatlantic journey this week.

Fight Club

Occasionally when we are in our backyard we see a black cat jump out of the greenhouse. I told H that must be his clubhouse. Yesterday we were watching television when H said he though he heard some noise outside. We saw these two cats in fighting stance in our front yard. Of course when they saw us watching them, they stood motionless staring at us. The hooligan cats in the neighborhood do keep us entertained.

Scavenger Cat

Country Pub

We got invited out to a country pub Sunday night for dinner with a work colleague and partner. Horses were in the adjacent field, which A immediately ran to. We also had one staring us down from another field.

The Neighborhood Cat

We aren't quite sure how this cat gets here. By the way, I have yet to meet anyone in the UK who has an indoor only cat like so many do in the States.

A's First UK Friend

Her first day here, we were walking down the street in our neighborhood and this cat was across the street. All she had to do is say, “Awww, kitty” and it was crossing the street to get to her.
