Checking the weather before I headed here, I packed for mid-70’s weather. It has been 100 degrees or over for a few days now. I packed way too many warm clothes. After a long day of sightseeing yesterday, I felt like I was covered in layers of dried sweat. Eww.
In the office on Friday, with the air conditioning struggling to keep up with the temperatures outside someone went and got popsicles. They call them "icy pols" while the Brits in the office call them ice lollies.
