Funny Moment at the End of the Day

I had a work colleague in the States instant message me this evening to ask if I was available for a telephone call. I said yes and my phone rang moments later. After I said hello, someone from another department in our building said to me “Hello J-, I’ve got a telephone call for you. I’m going to try and transfer it, but if I accidentally disconnect him, he has an American accent if that helps you know who’s calling”. I said thank you and my work colleague was patched through. I found this so funny because if my colleague hadn’t told me he was calling ahead of time, the American accent clue would not have given me much to go on.
