Pooh Sticks

The other night I went for a walk with L & B and they took me through a little path to show me the old church in Chesham and some of the lovely old buildings. We also went by a beautiful stream with a bridge. Next to the bridge there was a stack of sticks and B immediately grabbed one and threw it in the water on one side of the bridge and marched over to the other side to watch it pass. As we were standing there, an older gentleman whose property bordered the stream, came by to tell us that there were Pooh sticks there for the children. I thought this was so sweet that someone had taken the time to stack up sticks for the children wanting to be like Christopher Robin in Winnie the Pooh.

Girl, don't you think that older Gentleman (O.G.) has a little too much time on his hands if he stacking up "Pooh Sticks" and hanging around on the edge of his property to tell people he did that. Crazy ole Brits
