Ever since H started making risotto I have been obsessed with it. In fact he made it for me when I was home a few weeks ago and it was delicious. Yesterday in Windsor I stumbled upon a local restaurant's mushroom festival. I got this nice sized cup of mushroom risotto which was steaming hot with a rich combination of mushrooms, so delicious on a chilly day.

OMG! That looks wonderful! I love mushrooms, love risotto, so I have to agree that it does look like heaven in a cup. Yummy!! More food observations/pictures, please!! : )
Hey there! The kitty cats are fat and happy. Although strangely they haven't once used the cat bed! If I put it where they habitually sleep, they avoid it. Maybe it looks like an alien in my little house or something ...
And, when I was in Brighton two years ago, I was dreadfully disappointed over the coffee at the Starbucks there. :-( There was a competing local place that had much better brew, much to my bewilderment.
