Interesting Factoid

The standard number of hours in the UK work week is 37.5.

So that's like an eight-hour clock day, just minus the half hour for lunch, eh?

I used to work at a company that kept 37.5 hour work weeks. It meant that during "inventory week" (long awful process) we had to work an extra 2.5 hours before we could start getting overtime pay. Queue the violins.
