Years ago while driving with some friends from Huntsville, Alabama to Memphis, Tennessee we passed a shop called the Wood and Wax. Underneath the store name it read “gift shop and electrolysis”. Of course in the rural parts of the South you can always find a tanning salon/video rental store. Here we have a store that combines "Superior Quality Sandwiches" with "Sewing Machine Sales/Service & Repairs".
