N got in the taxi this morning at 7:30 and I was ready to go back to bed. She left me her Frommer's London 2008 guidebook, stating that I could "borrow it until her next visit". I picked up some information about a local book club that I am thinking about joining which means I have two weeks to read Atonement by Ian McEwan.
My buddy B from the St. Louis office and his lovely wife S should be arriving in London this morning. I will be meeting them outside their hotel on Saturday morning and am looking forward to seeing them.
